As a landlord, Magnus are very lucky to have some fantastic customers within our portfolio. This was re-enforced this morning, when Mark Rushton from SLR Solutions at Nelson House, Timperley rescued a swan which had been trapped for hours in ice on the Bridgewater Canal.
As the RSPCA and local Fire brigade entered the water to save the distressed swan, Mark was the one who managed to free the cold bird and pull it to safety.
Since the rescue earlier this morning, the RSPCA have called Mark, and as the birds are protected, he has had the opportunity to rename it prior to re-homing, so Simon and Mark from SLR Solutions have renamed the swan Nelson!
Well done to Mark on such a brilliant rescue!
