Ropewalks Completes
18th Sep 2007
Cheshire based property investment and development company, Magnus Ltd is forging ahead with its £30m regeneration in Macclesfield town centre.
It has just completed phase 2, Ropewalks, a 33,500 sq ft. grade A office building, 60% of which was prelet to Cheshire Peaks and Plains Housing Trust. This development has transformed the historic mill on Bond Street with the retention of the distinctive façade and the sympathetic integration of a stunning contemporary new build element which has successfully blended an eclectic mix of old and new materials to create stylish and elegant grade A business accommodation within an impressive landmark building. Suites are available from 3,000 sq ft. to 14,500 sq ft.
Master planning phase 3, Christ Church Green, is well advanced and once completed will create a three acre triangle of regeneration totalling circa 130,000 sq ft. of business space, adjacent to the proposed retail re-development of the town centre.
Vicki Crompton, Estates Surveyor of Magnus said "Now the Ropewalks is complete we are looking forward to start on Phase 3 which will be built to the same high standards as the previous two buildings and will meet the demanding criteria of today's businesses."
