Magnus' Spring Refurbishment at Manchester offices development

4th Jun 2008

Cheshire based property development and investment company, Magnus has been granted planning permission to carry out a £2.5 million refurbishment of 19 Spring Gardens and has appointed Preferred Office Environments as fit out contractors.  The 38,000 sq ft building is set to provide Grade A office accommodation in the heart of Manchester city centre's traditional office core and will be available on a leasehold basis from £25 per sq ft.

Magnus already boasts a strong presence in Manchester city centre where it currently owns more than 170,000 sq ft of prime commercial space including Abacus Court, Arthur House, Hanover House and Forty Four Peter Street, which became one of the fastest multi-let office buildings in the Manchester city centre last year.

Preferred Office Environments was awarded the contract after an intense competition and were selected not only because of their proven track record and attention to detail but also because of their ability to be flexible and accommodate future occupiers' requirements.

Steve Widdowson of Magnus says: "We have an unrivalled track record in redeveloping and refurbishing office buildings and having just secured the final two tenants for the remaining space at Hanover House and Arthur House, all of our schemes within the city centre are now fully let.  We are confident that the location of 19 Spring Gardens coupled with our unique interior designs and flexible leasing terms will appeal to potential occupiers."
