Magnus, the provider of offices to rent in Manchester and Cheshire, is sponsoring this year's Hospice walk. The 10 kilometre walk is to take place in Macclesfield on Saturday 12th September 2009, starting from Macclesfield Leisure Centre at Midnight. Last September over 500 people, many decked in fancy dress, took part in the walks and raised a gigantic £72,000 for the hospice. This year we aim to make it even better and to raise even more money for the hospice - but we need your help.
East Cheshire hospice cares for adults with life-limiting illnesses from which there is no cure, and supports those important to them. The hospice services are free and, with less than 23% of the costs met by the Government, through the hospice's Caring for Our Future appeal, they aim to raise the £5,500 which is needed every day just to keep going.
